About

I have completed my latest search for new links and there are 18 additional links. This websites now features 186 links, including 18 links that are new.

I have also renamed numerous pages for search engine optimisation. Most of the time this is just renaming a page from using underscores to using hyphens in the file name.

My interest in Airships first arose from reading an article about the Zeppelin NT in The Australian in 1997. The article was fairly brief with an artists impression of the Zeppelin NT. Then I lost the article.

Years later I bought Hindenburg: An Illustrated History by Rick Archbold with illustrations by Ken Marschall. I remember that it was a long weekend and that I read the book twice over. And years after that, I found the article. As the years have passed I have bought other books and magazines, all because of my interest in Airships.

I created this website after attending a two hour course at the University of Western Australia Summer School. I bought HTML in 10 simple steps or less by Robert G. Fuller and Laurie Ann Ulrich and I borrowed How to use HTML and XHTML by Gary Rebholz from my local library.

In 2007 I bought Search Engine Optimization for Dummies by Peter Kent. I went through every current and non-current and edited them for search engine optimization.

I choose to use Frontage as a text editor to assist me in correcting errors in the individual pages, though I have not used themes as borders are an essential part of the design for this website. Each page has style elements controlled by a cascading stylesheet to ensure consistency.

I managed to create and publish this website even though I don't have internet access at home.

I would like to thank Kat, Kelly, Michelle and especially Joe for their interest in my website.
